Rudyard Sailability's Dragon Boat Race happens every summer and is a fun day and fund raising event. This years event is taking place on Saturday, 27th June 2009 from 10:00am.
We are always looking for new teams to enter our race each year, and this year we are hoping to make it an even bigger and better event.
If you are looking for a fantastic day out with your work colleagues or friends, and can make up a team of 12 poeple, and would like to help us raise funds to keep Rudyard Sailability going, then we would like to hear from you.
We recommend that you bring a change of clothing as getting wet is not optional.

As a registered charity Rudyard Sailability rely's on fund raising to keep our club running throughout the year. Our annual dragon boat race is one of the ways that we raise funds for our club, and provide a lot of fun for our fund raisers.
Dragon boats are twin hulled 12 man canoes with a walking platform between the twin hulls. A helmsman sits at the rear with a large oar that is used to steer the canoe. These boats are great fun and ideal for groups to get out onto the water, and ideal for our race day.
